Dylan MacLeod was a new artist last year when I trusted him to do some of my tattoos. I chose him based on his fine art skills. He has made many pieces of art for me prior. He was patient, fair priced and professional. Justin has been cutting my son’s hair for 5 years. He is so kind to my son and his haircuts are phenomenal! Every experience I’ve had at A2G has been exceptional. Everyone here is a true artist and I’m grateful to be apart of it!

Just had my first hair at Axe to grind and after being so disappointed with many shops, I found my new go to! Such a down to earth easy to talk to crew over there. I haven't enjoyed a hair cut in a long time in terms of quality of service and a relaxed environment. It was cool watching them do sensory friendly cuts for children as well. It seems the owner Justin is a jack of all trades in the hair business. Will be returning here and recommending to my friends as well.

I could cry, I just brought my 3 yo w/ autism for a haircut. I fully expected him to freak out and cry and be a whole mess, he is VERY sensitive. This boy you can’t even put socks on without a melt down, I try and comb his hair he throws a fit. But Nick took the time to make him comfortable which surprisingly my boy took to him (he doesn’t do well with many new faces, so that says a lot to how sweet and kind Nicks vibes must have been towards my son) and not a single tear was shed while he got an amazing haircut! 10/10 we will be back next time my boy needs a cut! Thank you for your kindness and patience 💕

I’ve been going to Axe to Grind for years, and have always left with a great cut. Mike has been able to shift the style of my haircut based on what I like or want to try and I trust his judgement when trying new styles. I have never left disappointed. The whole barbershop has a great atmosphere and is a relaxing experience. I highly recommend anyone give them a shot.

I visited Axe to Grind Barbershop yesterday, on April 30th, for a 1:15 PM appointment with Justin — and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My son usually struggles with haircuts, and it’s always been difficult to find someone who truly understands how to make him feel comfortable. But Justin was incredible. He noticed my son playing and immediately connected with him in a fun, gentle way. It felt like they were just playing together, and that completely changed the mood. Justin made my son feel safe, happy, and relaxed. He took his time and didn’t rush the process at all. The haircut came out perfect — probably the best one he’s ever had. My son didn’t fidget or get upset, which has never happened before during a haircut. I truly recommend Justin to any parent with a child who has a hard time staying still, or who’s nervous about haircuts. Justin clearly loves what he does — and it shows. He’s not just doing a job, he puts care and passion into every cut. His work is professional, clean, and stylish. We’re extremely happy with the result and will definitely be returning to Justin regularly. He’s officially our go-to barber from now on!
